Female Business Owner Marketing Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

1. ELIGIBILITY

• Contest is open only to female business owners with registered businesses in North Carolina or South Carolina
• Must be 18 years or older at time of entry
• Business must be currently active and in good standing with the Secretary of State
• Employees of Octo Strategies, contest judges, and their immediate family members are not eligible
• Void where prohibited by law

1. ENTRY PERIOD

• Contest begins February 2, 2024
• Entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on March 17, 2025
• Late entries will not be accepted or considered

1. HOW TO ENTER

• Submit nomination form at [website URL]
• Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by others
• Multiple nominations for the same business will be consolidated
• All required fields must be completed for valid entry
• Incomplete entries will be disqualified

1. PRIZE

• One (1) winner will receive $5,000 worth of marketing services from Octo Strategies
• Services must be selected from Octo Strategies' current service offerings
• Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value
• Services must be utilized within 12 months of award date
• Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash

1. WINNER SELECTION

• Winner will be selected by a panel of four (4) independent business leaders
• Selection criteria includes:
• Strength of nomination
• Business needs
• Growth potential
• Winner will be selected on March 21, 2025
• Winner will be notified via email and/or phone within 48 hours of selection
• Winner must respond within 72 hours of notification or alternate winner may be selected

1. VERIFICATION

• Winner must provide proof of:
• Business registration in NC or SC
• Female ownership
• Current active business status
• Failure to provide verification may result in disqualification

1. PUBLICITY

• By entering, participants agree to the use of their name, business name, and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation
• Winner may be required to participate in reasonable promotional activities

1. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

• Octo Strategies is not responsible for:
• Technical failures of any kind
• Lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries
• Any injury or damage related to or resulting from participation
• All decisions by judges are final

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Octo Strategies reserves the right to:
• Verify eligibility of any entry
• Modify or cancel contest in the event of technical issues
• Disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules
• By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules
• Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the contest will be grounds for disqualification

1. DISPUTES

• Contest governed by North Carolina law
• Any disputes will be resolved in North Carolina courts
• Entrants agree to personal jurisdiction in North Carolina

1. WINNER LIST
